Kiva Indian Museum Trading Post
The Kwahadi Trading Post is an exciting part of the
Kwahadi Kiva Indian Museum. Over a hundred native artisans from the Pueblos and
Plains have crafted for you a wide variety of jewelry, pottery, dolls, weavings,
dance items, collectables, clothing, bronzes, paintings, and souvenir items!
Enjoy the adobe ambience as you explore in the warm glow of the Kiva fireplace
during the winter or enjoy a cool visit in the summer. The discriminating
collector and the shopping novice will enjoy their visit to the gift shop! Lots
of goodies for youngsters too!
You can select from a wide selection of Native
American crafted jewelry and crafts from the New Mexico Pueblos of Santo
Domingo, Zuni, Cochiti, Santa Clara, or Taos and from the villages of the Hopi
people of Arizona. In addition to the popular silver and turquoise jewelry,
you can browse fine Navajo rugs, Katchina dolls, pottery, and contemporary
crafts. A variety of Thomas Mails books and prints are here for you, along with
a selection of other books and fine art. Tom Knapp bronzes can enhance the
finest of homes! A full line of beads and craft supplies are always in stock.
